James Rollins

JAMES ROLLINS is the USA TODAY bestselling author of international thrillers. According to Publishers Weekly, Rollins has few peers in the research department. When asked about his "extreme"research tactics, he says, "I don't know if what I do is necessarily extreme: I have done some diving on the Great Barrier Reef, hiked all sorts of mountains, journeyed alone into rural China, swam in a few jungle rivers...I wish I had something more 'exciting' to relate. There's a reader who runs a shark research facility in the Caribbean who has offered to take me on a guided dive of his facility. I'll take him up on that when I have a chance.'
