Measure of the Heart

Measure of the Heart

Mary Ellen Geist

Mary Ellen Geist decided to leave her job as a CBS Radio anchor to return home to Michigan when her father's Alzheimer's got to be too much for her mother to shoulder alone. She chose to live her life by a different set of priorities: to be guided by her heart, not by outside accomplishment and recognition.

I enjoyed reading your book. It was heartwarming and informative. I'm passing it on to my sister to read. I was wondering how you, your mother and father are doing today.
Are you still caring for your father or did you have to put him into a facility? Hoping you can update me on how everyone is doing today.

All the best,

Chris Lang

Mary Ellen - I bought and read your book. My mother is presently living alone and losing her short term memory. Your book was very helpful and such a beautiful story of love for your father (and mother).
Thank you Mary Ellen!

Thank you so very much for bringing your Dad to East Jordan to sing with the Merry Musicals! We have read your article in the Readers Digest, and then I saw you on TV and then I read the article in the News Review...I am so happy to know that you have remained apart of our love of MUSIC...Love from East Jordan,Margaret
